Spinal Cord Injury Awareness

Join Our Community!

The goal of this site is to educate and empower individuals about people with SCI or paralysis. By fostering understanding and advocating for better conditions, we aim to promote awareness, encourage empathy, and drive advocacy efforts so that individuals with SCI and paralysis can live their best quality of life.

Kerry Hernandez-Williams (bottom left), was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) 30 years ago and is paralyzed, requiring 24-hour care. A loving mother, sister, and aunt, she lives in Arlington, Texas with her family.

Brian Jacobson (middle), was diagnosed with quadriplegia due to an SCI in 2004. He is not only a kindhearted father and uncle but also the director of InSpirit, a quadriplegic organization that provides aid to paralyzed people in Northern California.
